Dignity is the state or quality of being worthy of honour or respect by virtue of being human, and every person has an intrinsic need to feel valued and needed. Yet, in our world, there is often a gap between the ideals and realities of how dignity is accorded to individuals across age, gender, social statuses and financial positions. In this issue, I'd like to bring attention to the topic of dignity, and the ways which we can protect & honour the dignity of others and ourselves.

Ms Law, 54, Logistics

I saw this smiley girl at a roadshow one day after my appointment. I walked up to her to enquire about my hospitalisation plan because my servicing agent left the industry and the one who took over went MIA on me. Jasmine was so warm to me and helped me set up my PRUaccess account so that I can view my policies online. I've shared with Jasmine about my existing condition and she bothered to check in with me if I am diligently going for my medical check-ups every year and offered to see if my coverage was adequate as due to my existing condition. It didn't occur to me until Jasmine brought it up that once I retire my corporate medical benefits will cease and I would be eft unprotected. I really like how Jasmine was so patient with me and helped me with all the digital processes. She smiles a lot when we meet and checks in with me consistently over short calls time to time. I hope Jasmine will be treated nicely by her clients and the people she meets.

Kwang Yen, 26, Bartender

My sister referred me to Jasmine in November 2022. Jasmine had a warm and friendly demeanor throughout the advisory process and made it easy for me to understand the importance of income protection. I believe that the people who have met her will agree that she smiles a lot during the session and makes people feel at ease even though financial planning is a generally a stressful topic to talk about. Hoping that Jasmine will be able to reach out to more people in the future to help protect their lives and wealth.

Clara, 31, Student Care Assistant

I've known Jasmine since 2013 when we both worked in Starbucks Coffee and Jasmine was a senior part-timer. We also worked together in the same student center in 2017. Over the years, I've seen Jasmine taking on multiple part-time jobs while studying and still excelling in everything she does yet she consistently gives her best in all the activities she takes on. In this line of work, she believes that it is her responsibility to ensure that she provides the best advice to the people around her. Jasmine brings her signature efficiency and productivity with her to this job as well, and replies to my messages promptly regarding my inquiries on my policies. It tickles me to know that she can even recite my policy numbers off the top of her head. I strongly believe that she will do her best for the people she meets as she has proven herself in the decade I've known her. I am grateful to have her in my life and I look forward to being in her continued care.

Annie, 54, Grab food Deliverer

My daughter chanced upon Jasmine during a roadshow and she reached out to me in the hope to ensure that her daughter is in safe hands in her financial planning journey. Jasmine is so cheerful and bursting with energy. She is the first agent to actually review my old policies first before making recommendations, and even then was not pushy with any of them. She also helped me to make the necessary claims from a past insurer since I was unable to do it myself and even guided me through navigating Singapass for policy purposes. Not only that, but she also went above and beyond by going through the trouble of transferring my policies for me, even though she did not have to. Jasmine really serves with a big heart and a gorgeous smile, putting the well-being of her customers first.

Xin Yu, 26 , Nurse

I want to thank Jasmine for being one of the kindest and most patient agents I have spoken to. She was neither pushy nor aggressive, but instead patiently explained the insurance policies that I was interested in. Also, I was looking specifically for lady health insurance and Jasmine took the time to listen carefully and give me advice and suggestions that I am comfortable with. Stay gorgeous and happy Jasmine!

Fazulee, 45, Senior Assistant Director, NUS

My first encounter with Jasmine was when she started working as a student assistant with my colleagues and I in the Safety Program while she was at NUS. She came to us highly recommended. Her resume showed she had contributed greatly as a student leader while she was at Singapore Polytechnic, serving both the student body and the community at large in various projects. We were intrigued as she not only gave her time wholeheartedly in her ECAs but performed extremely well in her studies too. Her capacity to manage demanding work requirements and manage her time was proven in the two years of helping us organize in-house Safety Awards for our stakeholders. Jasmine's role involved handling the submission process for over 100 buildings and finalizing the winners involving over 2000 recipients. She contributed extensively to the planning and execution of the actual award ceremony. Jasmine also followed through with the recipients post-award on issues that they may have faced. Her dedication and excellence in executing her work is remarkable. Her passion for serving the community and giving her best is what drives her through the stress of the role. It is with this same altruistic passion that I know she’ll be serving her client’s interests at Prudential. She is a good listener and had recommended just the right product that meets my needs and was within my planned budget. Her attitude toward people assured me that we had the right partner in getting the help we needed for financial planning, an area that was foreign to me. Thanks to Jasmine I now see the insurance industry as an essential link to our total protection. I wish her the best in her endeavors and may her positive outlook towards life rub off on to you too!
